Interior Day Porter Cleaning Services
- Dust, sweep, and wash hard surface flooring in common areas, offices, and all interior spaces daily
- Remove gum, tar, and other foreign matter from flooring daily
- Thoroughly vacuum and clean floor mats, carpeted areas, and rugs daily
- Dust baseboards, trim, moldings, furnishings, ledges, and all other fixtures daily
- Clean and vacuum elevator tracks, lights, doors, and walls several times per day
- Clean any building directory, mail depository, and all other decorative metal using a microfiber cloth dampened with water only daily
- Clean all entrances and revolving door glass and entryway glass sidelights daily
- Clean chalkboards/white boards and trays upon request
- Empty and clean all waste receptacles and remove waste material to designated areas in the building
- Dispose of waste and replace plastic liners in accordance with the building’s recycling and/or composting program daily
- Damp wipe waste containers when liquid or food residue is showing
- Remove dirt, dust, finger marks, smudges, etc., from doors, door frames, switch plates, glass, push plates, handles, railings, moldings, trim, and pictures daily
- Damp wipe metal trim as necessary using water or acceptable green product only
- Wet wipe counters and tabletops in coffee/kitchen areas daily
- Clean furniture, such as chairs, tabletops, and counter surfaces daily
Restroom Day Porter Cleaning Services
- Wash and polish mirrors and all chrome and other bright work, including shelves, flush meters, exposed piping, toilet seat and partition hinges, dispensers, and all other washroom fixtures daily
- Wash all surfaces of toilets and urinals with disinfectant solution daily
- Wash all washbasins and counter tops with disinfectant solution several times per day
- Spot clean partitions, tile walls, and doors with special attention to areas behind sinks, around urinals, and around entrances daily
- Empty and clean towel and sanitary disposal receptacles
- Take waste material and refuse to the designated area in the building using janitor carts/carriages daily
- Replace liners in all receptacles as needed
- Wash and clean receptacles daily
- Clean and flush floor and other drains using products designed for sanitary sewers daily
- Refill toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and sanitary products daily
Exterior Day Porter Cleaning Services
- Clean and sweep up to fifteen feet of any exterior area outside of an exterior door and/or entryway daily
- Wipe down all trash receptacles daily
- Relocate recycling bins to the loading dock to be picked up
- Monitor entry areas within a 10 foot radius for cigarette butts daily
- Clean behind potting areas/plants daily
- Clean entry glass doors/ledges several times per day
- Wipe down wheelchairs to remove any dirt from wheels daily
